Chicago - There will be a lot of famous faces in Chicago this weekend, and our going-out guru Bessie Tsionis joined us tell us where all the hot spots are.
Number one on our hot list is someone we all know and love; Regis Philbin will be in Naperville Thursday night. The iconic television host will be signing copies of his new book, How I Got This Way, at Wentz Concert Hall.
The Reege, who stepped down from his morning show last month, is 80 years young, and this book proves he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
Music lovers, listen up, because we have several hot concerts and hot spots to tell you about. First up, it's a trifecta, The Fray, Kelly Clarkson and Christina Perri will headline The Mix's Miracle on State Street. The annual holiday concert put on by 101.9 takes place Friday night at the Chicago Theatre and will benefit Larabida Children's Hospital.
Another radio station is taking over the Chicago Theatre Sunday night. 93XRT is throwing their own holiday concert featuring Florence and The Machine. The Grammy Award-nominee will perform hits off her sophomore album, Ceremonials.
Demi Lovato will be rocking the Rosemont Theatre Saturday night. This is somewhat of a comeback for the former Disney darling. It's her first tour since being released from rehab earlier this year. Lovato, who has publicly talked about her emotional issues, is also healing through her music. Her third studio album is appropriately titled Unbroken.
And by now we should all be in the holiday spirit, right? Well, Adam Carolla isn't, he's actually giving scrooge a run for his money. The funny guy comes to town Saturday night with his standup show, Adam Carolla Hates the Holidays.
