Just because " Rock of Ages " the movie is tanking The AP said it only pulled in $14.4 million in its first weekend, and Warner Bros. is putting production costs at $65 million doesn't indicate anything about the lure of rock stardom. Don't say director Adam Shankman killed the rock 'n' roll dream, because it's just not true.

Proof: The Live Like a Rockstar Package from Manhattan's Sanctuary Hotel, where you can tailor an experience to leave you scratching your head and wondering what you did the night before. That's at least if you choose the "bottle of Double Cross vodka" from the list of add-on options, which also includes tickets to the Broadway version of " Rock of Ages ," see-and-be-seen reservations at Catch restaurant and the Meatpacking District nightclub Simyone Lounge, and a haircut from Bono's New York mane tamer.

You can indulge per your budget sadly, reality sets in when it comes to the bill with rates starting at $269 for two per night. A two-night stay is required.

At Times Square, the 9-story hotel already has a fairly rockin' aesthetic sleek design, plenty of chandeliers, two bars. (A rooftop restaurant is in the works.)

And hey, nobody says you have to party like Tom Cruise. Pick one of the originals Motley Crue's Vince Neil, say and rock out.
