Hot! Edward James Olmos To Attend Jenni Rivera Funeral

Jenni Rivera funeral is set to take place on Tuesday, where La Diva de la Banda family members, fans and celebrities will be able to say goodbye one last time.

The service will be held in Long Beach, Calif., the city where the Mexican-American singer grew up.

Fans will be able to attend a public ceremony, while certain celebs will be allowed in another more private memorial held on Wednesday.

Cuban icon Gloria Estefan, The X Factor host Mario Lopez and on-screen colleagues Snoop Dogg (now known as Snoop Lion) are scheduled to attend the funeral and memorial service. Veteran actor Edward James Olmos, who acted with Rivera in their upcoming film Filly Brown, was also invited to the services.

Los Angeles-based entertainment news blog LALATE is reporting that the public memorial will take place at the Long Beach Arena on from 9am-noon. The private funeral service will take place at the All Souls Cemetery.

On Thursday last week a jet landed at Long Beach Airport in California carrying the remains of the norte o singer.

The singer's brothers Juan, Gus and Lupillo Rivera had traveled to Nuevo Le n, M xico with the grim task of having to positively identify their sister's remains.

"We have received 100 percent confirmation that my sister Jenni is gone to be with the Lord," her brother Pedro Rivera Jr. said Thursday afternoon during a press conference at their mother's home in Lakewood, California. "She is in the presence of God now."

Rivera and six others were on a jet which crashed in the mountains of Monterrey, M xico in the wee hours of Dec. 9. She was 43.
